Jovi is an artist and graphic designer based in Athabasca & Edmonton, Alberta.

 

Her work starts with a fascination for nature combined with a love of pattern. She is inspired by plants, thrift store treasures, female beauty and eastern cultures. Often employing symmetry, dense decoration and bold colours, her work is highly detailed—yet simple. Art has become a way for her to solve and balance the complex. She uses a variety of mediums: graphite, pencil crayon, acryla–gouache, water colour, collage and digital art. 

 

Jovi is also interested in photography and painting murals.
